SELA LGBTQ+ Leadership Academy
Somos Power, Somos SELA
The leadership academy is a project funded by the California Community Foundation. Its purpose is to create a pipeline of leaders from Southeast Los Angeles neighborhoods to city hall by equipping them to address the challenges and recognize the opportunities in their community.
The academy will provide a safe space for LGBTQ+ youth and ally to learn how to build community and political power in transforming the communities of Bell, Bell Gardens, Commerce, Cudahy, Downey, Huntington Park, Lynwood, Maywood, South Gate, Vernon, and Walnut Park.
If you have any questions or concerns please contact Charlie Ruiz-Vazquez at [email protected] or by text/call at 323-695-1257.
