In Memory of Ingrid Marie Velasquez
In Memory of Ingrid Marie Velasquez
August 13, 1960 - December 19, 2019
Ingrid was a proud gay Latina. She was born in Boyle Heights, attended Hollenbeck Middle School, Roosevelt High School, and California State University, Los Angeles. 41 years ago when Ingrid came out to her family at the age of 18, an organization like Latino Equality Alliance and a community center like Mi Centro in Boyle Heights could have helped Ingrid and her family work through their issues and offered much needed support to Ingrid.
For that reason, we ask that you consider donating to Latino Equality Alliance in memory of Ingrid.
Proceeds will support services that will promote the well-being and academic success of LGBTQ youth.
Please make all checks payable to "Community Partners/Latino Equality Alliance" and for credit card donations please write down the amount and click on the PayPal tab.
Thank you for your support!
